A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing service to a chain of nursing homes in Queens, NY, is looking to immediately hire a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active NY license to work collaboratively with their teams of Dermatologists and healthcare professionals at various nursing homes across the state of New York, providing comprehensive Dermatology care to patients. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing Dermatology conditions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system, with an average total compensation ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year and a benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough dermatological assessments, including patient history and skin examinations,
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies and patch tests, to diagnose skin conditions,
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with dermatological disorders, such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis,
• Assist with dermatological procedures, including skin lesion removals and cryotherapy, and
• Provide patient education on skin health, sun protection, and skincare routines.

Qualifications:

• 6 months experience in long-term care
• DEA License
• Active NY state license,
• Experience in Dermatology (1 years min.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
