Diamond Peak Recruiting is Hiring a Construction Project Manager - Commercial Ground Up Near Boise, ID

Job Summary: The Commercial Ground-Up Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial ground-up construction projects, from initial planning through project completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are understood and met.
  • Prepare and review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
  • Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and senior management.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate communication among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing commercial ground-up construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
