Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project closeout.
• Team Management: Lead project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel. Ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among all stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs to ensure projects are completed within budget. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any quality issues.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and manage client expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines, budgets, and quality. Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and daily progress reports. Ensure all records are up-to-date and properly filed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and industry standards.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial projects, such as office buildings, retail centers, or healthcare facilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
