Diamond Peak Recruiting is Hiring a Data Center Project Manager Near Baltimore, WA

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong mechanical background in construction to oversee and manage mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, and will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the execution of mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Mechanical Systems Management:

  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
  • Ensure that all mechanical work complies with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Address and resolve any mechanical issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, change orders, and financial reports.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure that costs are controlled and within budget.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and manage procurement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of mechanical construction processes, systems, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including budget, schedule, and quality control.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
