Job Title - ADA Tester Location - Mountain View, CA. (Day-one Onsite)Job Type - C2C/W2Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive testing for ongoing releases to ensure the highest quality and functionality.
- Perform release testing to identify and catch regressions in products.
- Verify that new or updated features comply with established accessibility standards.
- Test typical use scenarios with assistive technologies (AT) to ensure usability for people with disabilities.
- Create and execute detailed test cases and scripts for new and existing features and functionality.
- Maintain and update test cases, scripts, and documentation to ensure they are current and effective.
- Develop and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Utilize accessibility checking tools (e.g., Accessibility Scanner, Lighthouse) to evaluate product compliance.
- Undertake other assignments related to accessibility testing as designated by this team.
- 5 Years of Accessibility testing experience.
- Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, switch access, magnification).
- Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion best practices.
- Proficiency in using various accessibility checking tools.
- Strong understanding of accessibility industry regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g., WCAG, EN 301 549, ARIA, Section 508, Accessibility Conformance Reports).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
