Role: DFT EngineerLocation: Plymouth, MN 55441 (Onsite)Position Type: Contract OnlyJob Description:What you ll be doing:
  • Timing constraints
  • Simulation, Conduct Code Synthesis
  • Test insertion (Scan, ATPG, and MBIST) and Test Support
  • Provide Customer Support
  • Prepare Documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers
Candidate will be using:
  • Synopsys Design Compiler
  • Synopsys PrimeTime
  • Synopsys DFT Compiler
  • Synopsys VCS
  • Synopsys TetraMAX
  • Synopsys Formality
  • Mentor ModelSim
  • Tessent Memory BIST
What We Are Looking For:
  • 8 years of ASIC development and deployment experience
  • General experience in ASIC concepts and design
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Background in BIST, Design for Test (DFT), physical synthesis, static timing analysis, and/or power analysis.
  • Direct experience with Synopsys toolset (ICC2, PrimeTime, and Lynx) is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of logic synthesis and functional verification, and how constraints are used throughout the design flow.
  • Strong background in Linux and scripting languages.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and data organization skills
  • Self starter, motivated and takes initiative
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and web navigation
