Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of electrical engineering & design experience with Engineering Consulting firm
- EIT or PE License desired.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is required. Revit is a plus.
- Good writing and general communication skills.
- LEED AP certification is a plus.
- COVID vaccination required.
- Design building power distribution systems, building interior and exterior lighting systems, building fire detection systems, building telephone and data distribution systems.
- Provide technical clarification of designs. Monitor electrical construction progress. Review shop drawings.
- Conduct field investigations and prepare reports for electrical issues.
- Cost estimating and equipment selection.
- Arc flash and energy analysis.
- Communicate with architects, contractors, owners, other designers, and external consultants.
