Work Hours: 1st shift 7 - 4 CSTDescription:SummaryThe Support & Ops Tech II is responsible for providing Enterprise Level IT Support and ongoing technology project services to CDW coworkers across all CDW Locations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Facilitate the business' needs for ongoing technical support.
Follow all guidelines and operational procedures.
Respond to requests and incidents for technical support within agreed upon response times.
Follow all team guidelines and operational procedures, identify gaps in our knowledge base
Provide Tier II technical support for company hardware and software, including.
  • Complete and close incidents and services requests within agreed response times.
  • Consistent user engagement/follow-up -Keep coworkers informed of the status of their tickets.
Meet all productivity and quality goals as measured by the department.
Support deployments and hardware refreshes
Follow all asset management guidelines and procedures
Create and submit knowledgebase documentation
Education And/or Experience QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
3 years experience in an IT related field.
Required QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and leadership.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong multitasking ability to handle multiple tickets and project concurrently.
Ability to write and present information and documentation.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Experience working in a Tier "1" phone technical support environment
Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365
Experience with VPN solutions and troubleshooting network connectivity
Experience working with desktop wireless configurations/setups
Experience with Active Directory (creating accounts, changing accounts, adding objects to OU's
Ability to work under general supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide remote IT support.
Experience deploying and supporting Windows 10.
Experience installing/uninstalling PC hardware/software.
Experience performing mass workstation deployments and migrations.
Willingness to work overtime when needed and flexibility in schedule based on business needs.
Experience supporting Windows 10 and Mac OSx
Experience supporting iOS and Android
Experience using ServiceNow
Experience supporting Citrix
