Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a team of innovative professionals in the manufacturing industry. If you are passionate about creating efficient manufacturing processes and developing lean manufacturing principles, then this is the job for you. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a key player in our operation, driving our commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement!
Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes by utilizing your knowledge in product and manufacturing methods.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to maximize efficiency and reduce waste..
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, and translate them into effective, efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange equipment purchase.
  • Enforce safety regulations and adhere to all quality control standards.
  • Train production personnel for new and existing equipment to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects targeting productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
