DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Web Designer in Carlisle, Iowa. This role operates within the telecom industry, requiring a keen eye for design and a strong understanding of various web programming languages. You will be responsible for the design and development of company web pages, including visual aesthetics and usability.
Responsibilities:
Develop and design new web pages and update existing ones using WordPress without the use of page builders
Enhance the visual design and layout of web pages using CSS
Create the structure and content of web pages using HTML
Implement dynamic behavior, data processing, and database interactions using PHP
Utilize HTML5 and front-end frameworks to improve functionality and user experience
Conduct regular testing of web pages to ensure optimal performance and user experience
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand specific design requirements
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in web design and usability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web design and functionality.
RequirementsMust have a minimum of 1 year of experience in web design
Proficiency in HTML and HTML5 is required
Experience with WordPress and WordPress Development is necessary
Knowledge and experience in PHP Development is a must
Must be skilled in CSS and CSS - Cascade Styling Sheets
Familiarity with Front-End Frameworks is a requirement
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
