The QTI Group is assisting our client, a progressive bio-tech company on Madison's south side, in hiring a **Customer Service Specialist**. This is a DIRECT HIRE onsite opportunity with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, and the pay rate is $20 /hour, based on experience. Apply online today!
**Responsibilities:**
* Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, chat, email, or other methods
* Provide service to domestic customers by processing sales orders, provide order confirmation, tracking information, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues within a timely manner
* Process international orders from branches, distributors and direct customers from inquiries to paid invoice
* Prepare export paperwork and documentation
* Handle customer service needs after the shipment such as credits, debits, proof of deliveries, replacements, returns, etc.
* Monitor, follow up and resolve open orders
* Assist team members to accomplish tasks and meet customer requirements
* Create, review and update customer account information
* Perform other duties as business needs require
**Qualifications:**
* HS diploma or equivalent is required
* 2 years customer service experience
* Working familiarity with ERP software
* Demonstrated ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office products
* Ability to learn quickly and multitask with interruptions
* Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills and time management
* Must be able to work in an office setting with a structured, team environment
* Ability to work in areas of limited space and to sit for extended periods of time and move from workstation to other areas of the building and throughout the campus
* Must be Covid 19 vaccinated
