We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented thinker and talented Industry/ Trade Marketing professional between Manager and Director level who can conceive of and execute B2B Marketing programs on behalf of our clients. From leading industry event and sponsorship strategies to implementing paid & organic social media and creative marketing programs. Experience leading and supporting conference strategies for clients across the advertising industry’s tentpole moments, such as CES, SXSW, Possible, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week NY as well as vertical conferences in a range of sectors from CPG, Retail, Automotive, Travel, and Financial Services is a must. The successful candidate will be a strategic self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a collaborative nature who has a passion for executing industry marketing events and creative marketing programs.

Ideal candidate has B2B experience working in advertising, media, marketing services at a publisher/platform agency and/or adtech.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Drive industry marketing efforts for DGC and its clients:

  • Develop events strategy and bring activities to fruition including identifying, pitching, securing, executing, managing speaking engagements and speaker bureaus.
  • Thoughtfully counsel clients about events based on client and business goals, and take immediate action
  • Know and advise ey Industry tentpoles; Vertical events; Editorial/Owned events; Bespoke events and creation for production
  • Develop long-term strategy and direction of client’s sponsorships and investments
  • Negotiate sponsorships and partnership packets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event organizers and editorial programming teams.

Lead Social Content Strategy & Development for DGC’s clients:

  • Ideate strategy, develop and execute social media programs, both paid and organic.
  • Build a paid content marketing strategy for DGC or clients
  • Provide day-to-day counsel, strategy, and direction while growing senior-level client relationships.
  •  Develop proactive solutions and provide thought leadership for social platforms, content strategy. 
  • Analyze and interpret data to help strategize budget and go forward strategy for LinkedIn, Meta, IG, X, etc.
  • Audit social media efforts for both DGC and executive pages
  • Creation and lead of social media training sessions as required

Support DGC’s own Marketing efforts

  • Support growth of DGC’s M2M offering through creative program development and brand marketing excellence
  • Social content creation.
  • Awards submission & events
  • Participate in new business development and agency marketing initiatives.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of clients’ industries, anticipating and addressing opportunities and issues as they arise.

Lead and mentor junior team members to build a culture of high performance.

EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

  • 8 years’ experience in B2B public relations in an agency and adtech, with specific experience in event and brand marketing programming
  •  Bachelor’s or advanced degree
  • Experience managing events, securing paid event programs and activation (for advertising, business, technology, creative, etc)
  • Compelling communicator and relationship builder with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience working on all key conferences, includes Cannes Lions, CES, Advertising Week New York, SXSW, etc.
  • Knowledge of tools like Muckrack, Meltwater, and understanding of analytics a plus.
  • Experience with social media listening platforms 
  •  A strategic self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Mastery of all the foundational skills one would expect at this level, including working in a fast-paced environment; delivering on multiple deadlines; high-caliber writing; active listening and attention to detail; and familiarity and comfort with digital and social media
  • Strong acumen and passion for integrated marketing and social media along with a winning attitude and a desire to build and grow client business

Salary commensurate with experience. $120k-$170k.
