Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise data architectures that meet business needs and comply with data governance standards.
• Plan and Lead the migration of on-premises data to Azure Cloud, including SQL Server databases and data warehouses.
• Design and implement data lakes and data warehouses using Azure and Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
• Define data models, schemas, and security protocols to ensure data integrity and access control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data platform performance, identify and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Analyze, propose, evaluate and influence implementation of Data Governance tools, AI solutions, ML models for predictive analytics and statistical analysis tools.
• Leverage automation tools, research & enrich data models with external data sources, design and build integrations (real time streaming and batch).
• Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve data management.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in data architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in SQL Server, including database administration, T-SQL scripting, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure SQL, ADLS, Synapse Analytics and Snowflake.
• Experience with building data lake, data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling and data governance, understanding and application of ML algorithms.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
