DigitalOptometrics, a growing, exciting company in the telehealth field, seeks a Training Specialist who will be a key player in training our clients, as well as have an opportunity to take center stage and shine professionally.
Job Description:
The Training Specialist will be responsible for travelling about 80% of the time, delivering OTJ training sessions for DigitalOptometrics clients, complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, learning resources, and guides. The ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe new processes and behaviors to a wide variety of different audiences. Must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Deliver On-the-job training in a variety of office settings and remote-based learning platforms.
• Prepare and conduct technical training programs.
• Conduct presentations and webinars.
• Deploy training to targeted personnel.
• Assess training needs and certification requirements.
• Prepare training material and classroom agenda.
• Provide end-user training for clients.
• Provide site training summaries
• Assist in designing instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional
materials, and training aids).
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques
• Co-Create training materials & initiatives.
• Test and review created materials.
• Maintain a database of all training materials
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Ability to travel out-of-state 80% of the time
• Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field.
Two (2) years' previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position in lieu of degree.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Certification from talent and training associations a plus
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel),
and instructional software
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional learning.
• Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/ goals
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
