DigitalOptometrics is Hiring a Training Specialist (OPTICAL) Near Cincinnati, OH
Job DescriptionThe Training Specialist will be responsible for travelling about 80% of the time, delivering OTJ training sessions for DigitalOptometrics clients, complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, learning resources, and guides. The ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe new processes and behaviors to a wide variety of different audiences. Must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Deliver On-the-job training in a variety of office settings and remote-based learning platforms.
- Prepare and conduct technical training programs.
- Conduct presentations and webinars.
- Deploy training to targeted personnel.
- Assess training needs and certification requirements.
- Prepare training material and classroom agenda.
- Provide end-user training for clients.
- Provide site training summaries
- Assist in designing instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional
- Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
- Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques
- Co-Create training materials & initiatives.
- Test and review created materials.
- Maintain a database of all training materials
- Ability to travel out-of-state 80% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification from talent and training associations a plus
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel),
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional learning.
- Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/ goals
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
