One of our clients is looking for the position IT Ops Support Special based on following skills:

Location: Washington DC

*Hybrid Position - currently required to be on-site EO Wednesday*

The IT Operations Support Specialist shall:

1. a) Provide technical assistance in all aspects of data processing operations.
2. b) Work with Server applications.
3. c) Have technical experience in the utilization and implementation of tools to monitor the server applications.
4. d) Have knowledge on how to identify, investigate and troubleshoot error conditions to help remediate system failure conditions.
5. e) Have understanding of Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code.
6. f) This position may require weekend shifts

Qualifications:

1. a) Required Experience of Two (2) years in the following:
2. Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code;
3. Software Migration process;
4. Startup of Production Applications & Systems;
5. Microsoft SQL Management Studio & Oracle SQL Developer;

1. b) Preferred Experience - 2 years minimum:
2. Support Web and Client Server Application
3. Microsoft Office Application Suite (Word & Excel)
4. Computer applications capabilities and limitations of computer equipment.

The successful candidate may have to undergo a drug test and background check.
