Beauty Advisor

Job Summary:
Join our team as a skilled Beauty Advisor! We are looking for a passionate individual who loves providing an excellent customer experience centered around transforming customers confidence through the power of makeup and skincare. If you have a knack for cosmetics/skincare and enjoy interacting with people, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent experience by sitting customers down and providing a skincare/makeup analysis
- Provide detailed product information to customers and relate it to their skin concerns/needs
- Help customers find products that align with their desires
- Keep the sales floor organized and presentable
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system
- Achieve or surpass sales targets consistently

- Utilize the clientele system to enhance customer loyalty and track sales
- Upsell and cross-sell products at different counters to maximize personal sales
- Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends by utilizing Dillard’s beauty training resources

Qualifications we require:
- Prior experience in retail/cosmetic sales
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent time management skills for task prioritization

- Fluency in English is required

Qualifications we desire:

- Experience building and maintaining a strong clientele

- Experience deescalating conflict and resolving customer concerns

- Proven record of meeting sales quotas

- Cold calling

- Fluency in languages other than English

- Basic knowledge of Dillard’s products, services, and mission

A 2% commission on personal sales is available to all Beauty Advisors when total cosmetics goal is met. Additional bonus/SPIFF opportunities are provided by select vendors on both a weekly and monthly basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
