As a Cosmetic Sales Associate at Dillard’s North East, you will be instrumental in providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the beauty shopping experience. You will assist customers with makeup applications, skincare consultations, and fragrance recommendations while maintaining store presentation and contributing to achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, addressing their needs, and assisting with makeup applications, skincare consultations, and fragrance selections. Build and maintain positive relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Beauty Services: Perform professional makeup applications, provide skincare advice, and recommend fragrances tailored to individual customer needs.
• Sales: Engage customers to drive sales, promote current promotions, and suggest additional beauty products when appropriate.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about beauty trends and our range of cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances to provide accurate information and recommendations.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing. Manage displays, restock merchandise, and handle inventory as needed.
• Checkout Assistance: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and manage returns or exchanges as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet sales targets and ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in beauty sales, makeup application, skincare consultations, or retail/customer service is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company’s dress code and grooming standards.
