Job Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This position involves learning the head cashier job to become her backup 2 days per week. This entails learning accounting for the entire stores daily bank deposit. This position also involves working in customer service, gift wrap and processing mail order transactions.

Duties:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently

- Handle shipping of mail orders

-Back up cashier - Will handle the stores daily deposit 2 days a week
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions at customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized customer service area

Requirements:

- Prior experience in customer service or retail is preferred
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to speak English fluently
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
