We are seeking a dynamic and energetic salesperson to join our team at a new and used office furniture store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-tier customer service, meeting daily sales goals, and handling various tasks related to furniture management and store organization. The position is 38 hours per week Wednesday through Sunday.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, assisting them in selecting the perfect office furniture solutions.
Meet and exceed daily sales targets by effectively communicating product features and benefits.
Create quotes for customers and process sales transactions accurately.
Post items for sale on various social media platforms and online selling platforms to increase visibility and attract potential buyers.
Perform physical tasks including moving, organizing, repairing, and cleaning furniture.
Load customer purchases into vehicles and ensure safe transportation.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment at all times.
Assist management with other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a sales role, preferably in retail or furniture sales.
Familiarity with various social media platforms and creating engaging posts to promote products.
Physical ability to perform tasks related to moving, loading, unloading, and organizing furniture.
Ability to lift greater than 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales.
Internet savvy.
