Dillon Toyota Lift is Hiring a Parts Specialist Near Salt Lake, UT

Dillon Toyota Lift has an immediate opening for a full-time Parts Specialist in our Salt Lake City location. We are experts in the material handling industry and the only Authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer in southern Idaho and Utah. What else can you expect as a Parts Specialist with Dillon Toyota Lift?Essential Job Functions:
  • Load, unload, inspect, and issue parts. Stock parts and assist in inventory tracking and control.
  • Arrange for delivery or shipment of parts orders. Process parts orders, log back orders, and return damaged goods.
  • Handle customer parts transactions, answer customer questions knowledgeably, greet walk-in customers, and promote additional sales. Inform customers when orders are received. Provide superior customer service.
  • Create product displays that are clean, attractive, and promote additional sales.
  • Prepare and cost parts invoices, identifying eligible wholesale customers.
Other Job Responsibilities:
  • Initiate credit applications for new accounts, and check credit requests versus status lists.
  • Clean, organize, and keep parts area free from clutter. Follow all safety guidelines at all times.
  • Meet with Parts Manager as needed, attend training sessions, and continuously learn more about the parts industry to stay knowledgeable.
  • Actively participate in meetings in a timely and prompt manner.
  • Engage self as an active member of the Parts Team, working to support the team’s objectives and performance measures.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.
Must Haves:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Or any combination of education and experience that is necessary to perform essential duties.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse/shop role, automotive parts and sales. Experience in material handling or related industry a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills and database tools.
  • Attention-to-detail, ability to prioritize and deal with frequent interruptions.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Strength to lift up to 75 lbs, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and kneeling required.
  • Clean driving record, willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
