- Most roles at Dimensional will be part of our best-of-both hybrid working model. This includes working together in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and choosing to work in the office or remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Responsibilities
- Sales leadership and management of a territory composed primarily of hybrid broker dealer and investment advisor clients.
- Develops new advisor relationships and retains and deepens existing advisor relationships.
- Consults with advisors on building an efficient practice while providing a successful investment experience to clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike
- Presents Dimensional Fund Advisors’ investment capabilities, investment theory and performance to Financial Advisors, branch offices, company conferences and industry functions.
- Formulates and executes tailored Dimensional initiatives and champions existing company initiatives.
- Be a team-player and sales and marketing thought leader within the Dimensional team.
- Be a spokesperson and ambassador of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace.
- Increase revenues, AUM and Advisor clients within the territory through the profitable growth of Dimensional’s product suite.
- Extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, CFA or CFP preferred. Also Series 24 is a plus as there can be potential to manage Client Service Members in the future.
- A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy and business strategy.
- Demonstrated track-record of building Advisor relationships and growing a territory.
- Extensive knowledge and network of RIA Financial Advisors who may share a similar investment philosophy to Dimensional or with enough intellectual curiosity to want to learn more about it.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ability to present Dimensional’s products and philosophy to small and large groups.
- Act as a coach and mentor to junior members of the team
- Results-oriented but highly collaborative
- Ability to work successfully in teams as well as operate on your own merit
- SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required; SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
