Requirements
Proposal Development:
  • Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial request for proposal (RFP) analysis to final submission.
  • Gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to create well-structured and persuasive proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with RFP requirements, formatting guidelines, and submission deadlines.
Project Management:
  • Create project timelines, allocate resources, and manage proposal schedules.
  • Coordinate proposal team members, including writers, graphic designers, and technical experts.
  • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address challenges.
Content Creation:
  • Write and edit proposal content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the company's messaging.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to incorporate technical details into proposals.
  • Develop project collateral in collaboration with our marketing team.
Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of proposal drafts to identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices for proposal writing, including tone, style, and branding.
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy and coherence.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business development, marketing, and technical teams to gather relevant information.
  • Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings and regular status updates.
  • Address feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge Management:
  • Maintain a repository of proposal templates, content, and reusable materials.
  • Continuously improve proposal processes based on lessons learned and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in proposal management, preferably in an A/E/C environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign.
  • Familiarity with proposal automation tools or CRM (e.g., Unanet, Salesforce) is a plus.
