Outside Sales Position

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Become a product specialist of foodservice equipment and smallwares
• Selling new and used equipment according to customers needs
• Building master order guides for customers for retention sales
• Working with a diverse customer base of Independent Operators and Multi-Unit Operators
• Providing demonstrations of niche equipment for customer and providing samples for product selections
• Managing quotes for customers in industry standard quoting software
• Utilize CRM as part of sales responsibilities to manage leads and projects
• Entering orders in Sage ERP
• Execute long and short-term projects by assisting customers in optimizing their product selection through creative problem solving, quoting, ordering, delivery and installation
• Attend industry trade shows with sales team
• Develop sales strategy to meet sales goals, target margins and sales metrics. Includes goal and KPI reporting, 1:1 coaching and mentoring, and attending sales meetings/training.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Sale experience with proven results is a plus
• Experienced in developing and responding to quotes and/or RFP’s, some complex that requires coordination with internal and external teams.
• An organized, self-starter and multi-tasker that has worked on various projects and opportunities simultaneously.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with both internal and external teams, passionate about excellent service and quality.
• Ability to think both creatively and technically to provide the best solutions.

College degree preferred, helpful to have restaurant/food industry experience.

Schedule: Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM. Sales staff is available to customer for additional hours as needed.

Compensation & Benefits: Compensation agreement to follow interview. Salary plus bonus. Dine covers 95% of employee health insurance, Paid time off, matching 401k and more.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
