Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) - Contract

Must have NDTR credential awarded from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

DiningRD is actively seeking a contract Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) to join our team of talented professionals for a consulting role in skilled nursing facilities and/or behavioral health. Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Complete the initial, annual, and quarterly nutritional assessments with correlating section K, CAA, and Care plan, according to federal and state guidelines, in a timely manner.
• Describe and Educate residents, staff, and family members on therapeutic & mechanically altered diets.
• Evaluate kitchen for safety & sanitation to ensure compliance with regulations. Promote quality food service.
• Initiates and/or completes documentation for residents at nutritional risk (renal/dialysis, significant weight changes, pressure ulcers, tube feeding, etc.).
• Assists with maintaining high-risk resident rosters and consultant RD logs.
• Participate in Wound / Weight Intervention and Nutrition Support Committee.
• Complete monthly QA reports.
• Conduct monthly diet order audits and assist in keeping resident food profile cards, tray cards, nourishment list updated. Record food preferences.
• Communicate effectively with Consultant RD.
