This is both to facilitate an understanding of the firm's capabilities by current and prospective clients, and to support the recruitment of talented attorneys and business professionals.

Dinsmore is seeking an Office Services Clerk at our Dayton, OH location.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with collection, sorting, and delivery of daily mail
  • Coordinate and assist with local delivery (downtown area) of documents and packages on a daily scheduled basis
  • Handle all emergency deliveries
  • Assist with document production, serve as point of contact in firm copy center
  • Assist with conference room set-up, ensuring rooms are cleaned and properly stocked
  • Back-up reception coverage
  • Back-up occasional secretarial coverage
  • Be a point of contact for IT troubleshooting / IT set-up for new hires
  • Perform general office duties

Requirements

  • Superior interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of the firm (attorneys, secretaries, administration, and other members of staff) and with clients and visitors
  • Ability to conduct work with strong personal and professional ethics and integrity
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be able to create, edit, proofread, and finalize all written communication, including emails, memos, documents, etc.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Exhibit professionalism
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Experience working in a law firm setting is a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an office environment
  • High school diploma is required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
