SUMMARY The Catholic Diocese of Crookston seeks a full-time Retreat Center and Special Events Coordinator. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and team-orientated

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee the reservation process, managing bookings, calendars, contracts, and correspondence for the Diocese of Crookston Pastoral/Retreat Center facility.
- Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly/annual schedules, ensuring staff and guest needs are met. Work cohesively with operations and administrative teams, including maintenance, housekeeping, foodservice, receptionist/clerical support, and finance.
- Ensure a warm welcome for guests and oversee check-in procedures for a positive guest experience.
- Maintain a safe and dignified environment for guests, aligned with Catholic teachings.
- Assist operations team when needed (ie: flipping rooms, serving meals).
SCHEDULE This is a full-time, non-exempt position in Crookston, Minnesota. Work hours will vary and depend on the Retreat Center and Special Events schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / ABILITIES •Experience in a customer service setting; religious, non-profit, or
spirituality setting preferred.
•Superb accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organizational skills and
ability to oversee a variety of tasks within a short time-frame.
•Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; outstanding
phone and email etiquette and public relations skills.
•High-functioning technology skills and significant effective experience with
Microsoft Office, emailing, database web forms, and other emerging technologies.
•Proven ability to be self-directed and to work collaboratively.
•Ability to adjust to retreatants' and staffs changing circumstances; ability to
improvise in an effective and appropriate manner and to think creatively.
•Willingness to be contacted after hours if urgent matters arise.
•Ability to make connections between the day-to-day tasks of the position and
the vision of the Diocese of Crookston.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality.
