- Must be a practicing Catholic and a member in good standing of a Catholic parish.
- Bachelors level education, preferably in theology, catechesis, or related field.
- Previous experience preferred.
- A solid foundation in Catholic teaching with a willingness to keep learning.
- Position requires some understanding of catechetical processes as they pertain to children, youth, and young adults.
- excels in written and oral communication.
- able to lead volunteers and make timely decisions.
- able to plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
- able to implement age-appropriate instructional materials and methods of teaching.
- proficient in Microsoft Office software, the internet, and all basic office equipment is required.
- able to relate interpersonally with youth to effectively accompany them spiritually.
- Organize, plan and implement a 1st through 11th grade religious education program.
- Recruit necessary volunteers and ensure compliance with Safe Environment protocols.
- Evangelize our young people through the witness of a personal life of faith and service, as well as through small groups, retreats, and the Catholic community.
