St. Thomas Aquinas Academy (STA) is seeking a faithful and nurturing After School Care Assistant to help build and manage our after-school care program. The ideal candidate will embody the Catholic mission and values of St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured experience after regular school hours. The position will be responsible for ensuring continuity between the regular school day and after-school activities. This role offers the opportunity for aspiring educators to support students’ academic, social, and spiritual growth in a faithfully Catholic environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesChild Care:

• Provide direct supervision to students, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and faithfully Catholic environment for all students.
• Develop and deliver age-appropriate enrichment and learning activities that align with the school’s classical Catholic liberal arts model.

Communication And Collaboration

• Communicate with parents regarding their children’s experiences and any incidents that occur.
• Work with school administration and faculty to ensure a contiguous educational experience.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions as required.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of School
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
