Education Manager to master the art of diptyque selling ceremony, storytelling, and product offerings. This role will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of educational materials for the retail, wholesale and corporate teams. The Education Manager will lead by example, in all selling environments, serving as a highly visible brand authority.
This role will report to the Senior Manager of Education. This person will have a strong collaboration with Global education, retail, wholesale field sales, e-Commerce and customer service teams.
Key Accountabilities
Education & Training
Evaluate and implement educational and training programs employees across corporate, retail and wholesale
Plan and partner with key stakeholders for onboarding new hires
Oversee planning, prioritization, and implementation of worldwide training materials and development initiatives, ensuring consistency with the business strategy and needs of the organization
Conduct training and educational seminars through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and in-field side by side coaching
Deliver content and training plans to inspire teams and enable management to transform clienteling behaviors with their sales teams
Ensure full product knowledge, selling ceremony adaptation, and client-centric selling skillset
Create new selling and client experience techniques to enhance current educational materials
Deliver and develop training materials to support core training priorities within the store environment (client experience evaluation, product knowledge, etc.)
Conduct retailer-specific training to drive sales and elevate product knowledge
Reinforce the usage of CRM and clienteling tools
Encourage adoption of continuing education through Diptyque e-learning app
Assist Customer Care team in building out the knowledge base via Zendesk
Partner with Customer Care team to ensure the voice of the customer is present in training rollouts
Work closely with corporate visual merchandising team to understand merchandising and be able to execute changes / updates utilizing planogram guidelines
Collaborate with and enable the field to ensure that visual merchandising displays are aligned with global guidelines and approved to be used in respective key wholesale accounts
Management
Liaise with the global education team in the development and delivery of the Education curriculum
Contribute to sales goal achievement for our network of stores and retail partners
Prepare and report on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness
Provide constructive and ongoing feedback, coach and help others to achieve their full potential
Collaborate with corporate team and store management to deliver training schedules
Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, providing in-store support to teams when needed
Lead in-store events nationally, providing clients with the ultimate luxury client experience
Develop and nurture relationships with staff and retail partners to inspire and motivate the team to achieve sales objectives
Provide feedback to all teams on new ways to elevate the in-store experience, client recruitment, and retention along with the overall service skills of our brand ambassadors
Key Requirements
Four-year degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of in-store experience with Sales and Education background
Luxury retail experience preferred
Experience planning and managing both small and large-scale training events, with flawless execution
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including outstanding presentation skills; confidence in public speaking
Ability to communicate, concisely, and persuasively with both large and small groups.
Must be able to work independently and transparently, possessing the judgment to provide frequent, concise management updates
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and proven sales success
