DESCRIPTION
The American Rescue Plan Act Project Manager manages, directs, and coordinates the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the community-wide portfolio of projects funded and regulated by ARPA.
Performs professional and administrative work in the development and coordination of the strategic investment of the City’s allocation of the American Rescue Plan Act’s (ARPA) Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Duties include responsibility for planning, organizing, and directing these investments including adherence to of all related policies, procedures and regulations. Moreover, this role will include maximizing the timing and sequencing of all American Rescue Plan Act funds in order to leverage and capture all recovery resources.
Position is responsible for facilitating engagement, cooperation, and decision making with a diverse pool of internal and external stakeholders regarding the City’s American Rescue Plan Act strategy. Work is performed with considerable technical independence under the administrative direction of the Mayor and is reviewed through observation of results obtained.
The ARPA Project Manager is a single classification responsible for executive organizational development and support. Incumbents are responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation, and training of department staff on best practice models related to the American Rescue Plan Act.
