- Conducting physical assessments, including psychiatric or admission assessments.
- Administering medication(s).
- Processing physician orders.

- Communicating both verbally and in writing to report related findings
- In accordance with agency policies, declare a personal safety emergency stemming from any situation where the physical or emotional safety of an individual is at risk and immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or injury (e.g., physical assaults, verbal threats, medical equipment malfunctions, or incidents of patient/resident elopement) as needed.
- Conduct assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' medical, and psychiatry needs with a focus while providing patient-focused care.
- Serve as the liaison between patients and their families to educate them regarding treatment plans.
- Valid New Hampshire State license to practice as a Registered Nurse or ability to obtain one by the start of employment.
- One year or more of experience as a Registered Nurse in a setting similar or equivalent to the position assigned.
