Salary: $130,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President of Finance will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Finance, Revenue Management and Information Technology departments; as well as all accounting functions, cash management, contract management, budget leadership and coordinator of the annual audit. The VP of Finance will set the organizations financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organizations overall strategy. As a member of the executive leadership team, the VP of Finance will work closely with the VP of Strategic Initiatives.
The VP of Finance will be responsible for filling the Financial Leadership function for a mid to large size not for profit organization with several healthcare operating units.
This position directly supervises the Director of Finance.
This is a key employment position pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act.
ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT:
  1. Assists the Human Resources department with the annual evaluation of employee benefit plans.
  2. Serves as a member on various committees to enhance services and the administration of the organization.
  3. Attends board and board committee meetings and provides accurate reports as requested.
  4. Participates in external activities to develop and nurture relationships with funding sources and enhance financial management of agency.
  5. Assists in developing, implementing and reporting on the strategic plan.
  6. Assists in developing management reports to enhance financial accountability and monitor program services.
  7. Assists compliance personnel in developing monitoring tools and coordinating internal audits of client and billing files.
  8. Perform all other duties assigned by the President/CEO.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree (MA/MBA preferred, CPA a plus) in Business, Management or Finance.
  • Prior experience in non-profit/fund accounting is required.
  • Experience with multiple sources of grant funding, compliance and reporting requirements required.
  • Experience with non-profit activities, regulations and reporting requirements.
  • NON PROFIT AND/OR HEALTHCARE EXP. REQUIRED
