Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Jr. Mechanic/Apprentice Electrician at DIRUSSO ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING INC located in New York City Metropolitan Area. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment for commercial and residential properties. The Electrician will be expected to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and work with clients to ensure their electrical needs are met. They shall enforce safety measures within the organization and ensure the public safety in relation to electrical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment is required.
• Must be knowledgeable of local and National electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and follow technical schematics and blueprints.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have attention to detail and be able to work independently.
• Possession of a valid Electrician's license or certification is preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Ability to work overtime and weekend hours, as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have OSHA certification
