Operations Development Program - Auto Damage
The Operations Development Program (ODP) is a rotational program designed to accelerate the development of GEICO's next generation of leaders. As a high potential leader, you will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to coach, support, and drive a team's performance over the next 18 months. Throughout the rotation you will have the opportunity to lead projects, develop associates, and gain management experience. We will invest in you by providing professional development, senior leadership mentoring, networking, and on-the-job training. Upon completion of the program candidates will have gained the skillsets to successfully lead in our Physical Damage Department.
Job Responsibilities Include:
•Demonstrates ability to access and utilize multiple software applications for concurrent use.
•Ability to achieve goals through effective interactions with leaders, peers, and associates.
•Ability to learn the technical position of a physical damage adjuster and apply training to become a strong technical expert in field adjusting
•Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high tempo environment while interacting with internal and external customers and handling difficult situations.
•Observes and obtains knowledge of the physical damage supervisory duties that include monitoring calls, assessing strengths and weaknesses of direct reports, completes administrative tasks such as verifying timesheets and reviewing department / performance results and reports.
•Supervises a team of adjusters and provides direct coaching to improve performance, facilitates team meetings and bonding activities, answers questions and provides daily support to direct and indirect reports.
•Provides feedback and coaching to associates with performance opportunities to improve performance.
•Monitor reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly to analyze the performance trends and implement actionable plans to help your team of adjusters improve.
•Completion of required learning programs designed to accelerate your path to supervision throughout the program.

Salary: $75,000 plus $3,000 sign on bonus
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree at accredited institution, obtained by June 2024
  • Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the state insurance department.
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organizations skills.
  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
  • Must demonstrate a clear ability to communicate in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner by telephone/in person/in public/and in written form.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to handle competing priorities and projects.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Maintain the attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers, and if applicable direct reports.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Prior leadership experience demonstrating data-driven decision making, motivating a group towards a common goal, and/or delivering results through others
Annual Salary
$28.29 - $44.17
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
