Responsibilities:
- Accurately invoice clients and manage accounts payable
- Manage the company’s checking accounts and cash flows
- Reconcile the company’s checking accounts monthly
- Assist management with payroll
- Prepare financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Direct and coordinate the company’s financial planning and budget management functions
- Manage the preparation of financial reports and forecasts
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
- Ensure compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal reporting requirements
- Work with other department heads, executives, and owners to develop and execute the strategic plan
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the company
- Provide recommendations for process and procedure improvements
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
- Restoration or Construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in QuickBooks (Intuit), Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven strong time management, organizational, process improvement, and independence skills
- Consent to satisfactory credit check upon hire
