What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reconstruction Project Manager position at Disaster Restoration Services (DRS)?
Looking for an experienced individual who will be responsible for Xactimate estimation, job costing, insurance negotiation & client communication. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing, coordinating and maintaining quality and schedule for the reconstruction of properties, along with the Restoration Superintendent, that have been affected by water, fire, or mold. The ideal candidate should have experience with Xactimate estimation software and management of construction and renovation projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited:
· Review potential projects in conjunction with Mitigation team
· Work with Sub-contractors and material suppliers to determine job costs
· Create Xactimate estimates for project
· Track job costs and estimates to ensure profitability of each project
· Work with insurance adjusters and clients to negotiate project scope and cost
· Obtain signed work authorizations and deposits prior to work beginning
· Order materials as needed by job and ensure all materials are on site when needed
· Oversee quality control of all subs and employees
· Obtain Building and Planning department inspections and permits as required
· Work with project Architect, Engineer and designer as required, including completion of RFIs and Submittals
· Communicate with clients from initial meeting to close of project to effectively manage the rebuild while keeping them informed on the progress of the work and to address any concerns they may have.
· Work with Restoration Superintendent to communicate, lead and direct subcontractors and employees
· Complete jobs within budget
· Complete daily Log updates with progress photos throughout the project
· Work with Restoration Superintendent to make sure day-to-day operation of current projects run smoothly, and schedules are met
· Compile and oversee completion of project punch lists
· Review invoices from all trades and subs in a timely manner
· Work with accounting team to ensure proper project billing
· Ensure compliance with safety standards on all projects

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
