Discover Recovery strives to be an innovative provider of treatment and education for the chemically dependent and their families, by offering person-centered care in a safe, serene, and secure refuge for the client to heal from their addictions.

Essential Functions:

-The RN job duties are mostly focused on passing medications, monitoring detoxing patients, assessing health and psychiatric concerns, communicating with medical providers, local pharmacies, and counselors, and working alongside Residential Technicians.

- Adheres to program and medical protocols, standards, policies, and procedures

- Monitors medical care for all patients and provides guidance to detox staff in person and via phone calls as needed (on-call) and through daily interactions.

- Responsible for compliance with medical policies and procedures regarding documentation and programming.

- Monitor medical treatment related to patient needs

Qualifications:

  • Must maintain clean driving record
  • Active WA State Registered Nursing or Licensed Practical Nurse License
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CPR/First AID
  • Negative TB test results within past year
  • Medical Clearance to work within past year
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Maintain valid CPR/First Aid certification
  • Individual must be willing to work with a wide variety of symptoms related to substance abuse.
  • Must have an understanding of and sensitivity toward working with multi-cultural populations, as well as an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
