Discovery Charter School is Hiring a Head Coach (Middle School and High School) Near Bahama, NC

Discovery Charter School is currently looking for the following Head Coaching positions:

Head Coach Golf (Middle School and High School)
Head Coach Cross Country (Middle School and High School)
Head Coach Cheerleading (Middle School and High School)
Head Coach Baseball (High School)

The head coach will report directly to the athletic director. The coach will be responsible for all aspects of the program. The primary responsibility for the head coach will be the development and education of the student athlete.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be flexible and willing to teach new players the fundamentals.
  • Have great knowledge and a lifelong learner of their sport.
  • Help promote the culture of the school.

Minimum Requirements

  • Enthusiastic commitment to teaching and mentoring student athletes.
  • Demonstrated experience of helping develop an exceptional student athlete.
  • Being positive and invested in the athlete’s growth and development on and off the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Coaching Applicants Must
*Pass a Background Check
*Willing to Complete all Training/Applicable Certifications
*Have 3 years of Coaching Experience (Middle School Level Minimum)
*Provide a Resume and 3 References

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
