Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activities Director to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating a vibrant and fulfilling environment.

Duties:
- Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of residents
- Coordinate and lead group activities, outings, and events
- Develop individualized activity plans based on residents' interests and abilities
- Collaborate with staff to integrate activities into daily care routines
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Knowledge of aging issues, long-term care, senior care, social work, home community care, and caregiving
- Experience in recreational therapy and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Compassionate approach to care for seniors with diverse needs
- Strong organizational skills to plan and execute activities effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
