Job Description:

• Assist in serving the food to the residents
• Assist with feeding the residents
• Adhere to the dress code for the department
• Report to a supervisor/manager
• Assist with any other task in the department
• Perform duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization
• Participate actively in the care of the residents
• Enable to have a voice in the administration and policies of hospital
• Prepare the food for the residents
• Work with residents and staff in a, manner that promote person-centered care with a commitment to customer service
• Work with the other dietary staff to assist in preparation and serving of meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs
• End an interaction with the guest
• Assist the cook with meal preparation
• Encourage a harmonious working relationship in the department as well as with all employees of the facility
• Use language appropriate to the situation and to the guest
• Work along with the dietary manager to prepare meals
• Maintain the security of the department
• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals
• Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the Company's budget
• Assist with the preparation of meals and snacks for residents within guidelines of the facility

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
