Disneyland Resort is Hiring an Assistant Stage Manager - Part Time Near Anaheim, CA

Our Assistant Stage Managers assist in the daily operation of the shows and atmosphere product at the Disneyland Resort. Your responsibilities will range from being part of a running crew on a stage show to calling cues to assisting our many atmosphere shows performing during the day.
Responsibilities :
Work under the direction and guidance of a salaried Entertainment Stage Manager (Production Stage Manager)
Perform daily operational duties to support stage productions, shows, atmosphere shows, spectaculars, events and festivals
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the backstage and onstage areas during technical rehearsals and shows
Maintain smooth, calm operation, and logistics of rehearsals and shows
Call cues for rehearsals and shows
Facilitate communication between Production, Cast, and Crew
Perform daily setup and cleaning
Assist in the maintenance of stage presets
Provide clear communication between calling SM and the crew during rehearsals and performances
Basic Qualifications :
Must be at least 18 years of age
Can be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
Must be Fully Available Friday/Saturday/Sunday & holidays year round and fully available seven (7) days a week in peak times of the year (Spring Break, Summer, Thanksgiving, & Christmas/New Year’s, plus various other times throughout the year as the business need dictates)
Must be in good physical condition as the position is very demanding: for example, must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, going up and down stairs and ladders constantly, and lifting up to 75 pounds on occasion
Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, or Production Assistant experience in a theatrical environment
Remain calm and organized during high-stress situations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work successfully as an individual contributor and in a team environment
Strong leadership skills
Has strong computer skills and understanding of current technology

Understand how to "manage in the gray" and be able to make quick and decisive decisions when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BFA in Theater or other related course of study
Preferred Education :
BA/BFA in Theater or other related course of study.
Additional Information : SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Rehearsal and show shifts may start at any time of the day or night.
