The Holiday Inn Boston - Bunker Hill Area in Somerville, Massachusetts is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Server to join our evening team. As a Server, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional hospitality and dining experience to our guests. This is a part-time hourly position with a competitive compensation of $10 per hour, paid biweekly plus tips.

- Greet and seat guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of food orders
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and suggestions to guests
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond to their requests promptly and courteously
- Ensure proper handling of payments and adhere to cash handling policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Uphold the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- TIPS or ServSafe certification is a plus
- Must have valid Food Handler's and Alcohol Awareness certifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
