Distributor Wire & Cable is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager Near Aurora, CO
This position is a remote position with travel up to 5% annually. Our headquarters is in Aurora, Colorado.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and determine select criteria
- Utilize and manage various sourcing methods
- Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing and negotiating job offers
- Design and execute a thorough orientation and onboarding program to ensure new hires are integrated into the company effectively
- Facilitate initial training for new hires
- Monitor and gather feedback to continually improve the process
- Track and report key metrics related to recruitment and hiring activities
- Analyze and use data to make recommendations and decisions regarding recruitment strategies
- Conduct workforce planning to identify current and future talent needs
- Collaborate with leadership to understand business goals and anticipate future hiring requirements
- Develop talent pipelines for critical roles and ensure a proactive approach to talent acquisition
- Ensure job descriptions are consistent, accurate and up to date
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong understanding of of full-cycle recruitment processes and employer branding strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional written communication skills that are clear, concise and convey messaging effectively
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems and HR software
- Ability to analyze and interpret recruitment metrics
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools
- Certification in HR or Recruitment, SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent preferred
- 5 years experience in HR at least 3 in Recruitment/Talent Acquisition
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Remote position, but must be able to travel 5% of the time
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending and reaching
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
