District 19 Community Services Board is Hiring an Acting ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Services Manager Near Petersburg, VA

District 19 Community Services Board is seeking qualified staff to manage Assertive Community Treatmentprogram. This program is designed to provide an Evidence-Based Practice modelof highly coordinated set of services offered and is a self-containedinterdisciplinary community-based team of medical, behavioral health, andrehabilitation professionals who use a team approach to meet the needs ofindividuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Supervises staff, interfaces with communityorganizations, serves on required boards and committees, and provide directservices to ACT consumers as needed. Responsible for the day-to day operationsof the ACT program. Pre-admission screening evaluator is hired with knowledge,skills, and abilities to establish a welcoming environment for individual withco-occurring disorders and performing hopeful engagement and integratedscreening and assessment.
This team leader/manager must be an LMHP (LCSW or LPC) and have at least three years experience in the provision of mental health services to adults with serious mental illness. The team leader/manager shall oversee all aspects of team operations and shall provide direct services to individuals in the community.
Applicant must be able to conduct comprehensive and service specific needs assessments. Providing oversight and direct supervision of staff. Ensure compliance with regulations, etc.
Provide crisis intervention and prescreenings to individuals in the ACT program as needed.
Required to become a Certified Preadmission Prescreening Evaluator within 30 days of hire.
Required to attend to program emergencies and crisis after normal business hours.
Applicant must have excellent computer skills.
Preadmission screening evaluator is hired with knowledge, skills, and abilities to establish a welcoming environment for individuals with co-occurring disorders and performing hopeful engagement and integrated screening and assessment.
Preferred candidate will have knowledge of ACT licensure, and Medicaid regulations relating to services under their authority and experience in electronic record keeping.
This is a Grade 217 salaried position. The annual salary is $75,639.00.
Excellent benefits include sick and annual leave and Virginia Retirement System. Flexible work schedule, including 4 day work week, is possible in some positions.
Position requires pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening, to include a driver's license report if applicable.
