Summary/ObjectiveJOB DESCRIPTIONThe Manager of Software Development is responsible for the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of software products to provide patrons access to funds for gaming in casinos, online gaming platforms, and the administrative and reporting systems to support these services. Products include ATMs, multi-function ticket redemption/issuance/kiosks with ATM, cash advance and check cashing functionality funds access services, casino cage applications, standalone cash dispensers and a digital wallet for gaming.. The management of offshore developers supplemented with internal developers as needed. This position reports to the CEO.
Applicants without proven experience in the gaming industry in the development of software for ticket redemption kiosks, cash advance, and check cashing applications should not apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The development of software, which has regulated components requiring lab certifications, for multi-function ticket redemption/ticket issuance kiosks, which support a variety of funds access applications such as ATM, cash advance, check cashing, charitable gaming, and a mobile digital wallet for gaming.
- The development and maintenance of enterprise-level software, with regulated components, for a multi-cassette cash dispenser for casino cage automation and as a standalone cash dispenser for payment of jackpots.
- The development of software for an on-site, server-based dashboard for monitoring, controlling, and reporting funds access transactions.
- Integration of the payment platforms with a digital wallet application affording patrons access to their funds for gaming.
- The development of methodologies to manage large-scale databases requiring real-time access to information.
- Architecting security systems and implementing encryption technology to protect confidential information.
- The development of administrative systems and reports such as commission payments based on customer transaction volumes, electronic money movement, and other applications necessary to support the products and services.
- The development of project budgets and management of labor and other expenses to stay within approved budgets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, coding, and testing cash access applications in gaming for casino cages and ticket redemption kiosks.
- Experience in managing offshore development teams.
- Current technical knowledge of Microsoft development tools, e.g., C#.net, SQL, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A hands-on manager of technical personnel with a current personal skill set to design, code, and debug applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or directly related field (Experience may be substituted for this requirement)
- Strong technical skills and the drive to maintain those skills.
- A person who strives for perfection, knowing that will lead to excellence.
- Meets the above skill requirements.
- Must be licensable.
