Dive In Pools and Spas is Hiring a Pool Maintenance and Repair Technician Near Abilene, TX

We are looking for someone who is dependable, friendly, and looking to move up in the service industry.

Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Driving to customer’s location within 60 mile radius of Abilene.
  • Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels at customer's homes and in the stock.
  • Testing swimming pool water pH and chlorine levels.
  • Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to pools and spas.
  • Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment (brush and vacuum).
  • Smart phone use of app to take before and after pictures for customers.
  • If experienced, pool technician may take on other responsibilities such as repairs of motors, filters, lights, and cracks .
  • Completing paperwork, app, and maintaining stock, and reporting service requirements to management.

Pool Service Technician Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Previous experience as a pool technician or plumbing is REQUIRED.
  • Own truck/transportation, but company vehicle may be provided.
  • Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and equipment repairs a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Customer service and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
