Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Post Processing Technician Level 1 to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to operate and maintain media blasting equipment, as well as heat treatment and adhesive curing ovens. The ideal candidate will follow established procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes and maintain system integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Media Blasting: Primary role

- Operate walk-in blast booth for media blasting processes.

- Ensure consistent and high-quality surface preparation according to specifications.

- Perform routine checks and maintenance of blasting equipment.

- Heat Treatment and Adhesive Curing:

- Operate Divergent Technologies heat treatment and adhesive curing ovens.

- Monitor and adjust temperatures and timings to ensure optimal results.

- Handle materials with care to avoid contamination and ensure uniform treatment.

- System Checks and Maintenance:

- Perform system checks and periodic maintenance on all equipment to ensure they meet specifications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with equipment and report major issues to the supervisor.

- Documentation and Compliance:

- Follow the Divergent Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for documentation of all work performed.

- Ensure proper documentation of processes, maintenance, and any deviations.

- Adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience with media blasting and operating industrial ovens preferred.

- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Basic understanding of metal heat treatment principles.

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within a highly regulated environment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Capability to lift and handle materials as required by the job.

- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to heat and noise.

- Ability to lift and carry 75lbs.

Work Environment:

- Industrial setting with exposure to heat treatment processes and media blasting operations.

- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
