Job Description – Account Manager
DEA is the Southern California manufacturer’s agent of choice for Lighting, Power Distribution, and Electrical Product Solutions.
Roles/Responsibilities:
· Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the development and support of Distributors, Electrical Contractors, and Energy Service Companies (ESCO) in the territory.
· Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of products.
· Training and understanding of products from vendors we represent. Must have technical knowledge in at least (1-2) of these areas: lighting, lighting controls, switchgear, and electrical vehicle service equipment (EVSE).
· Building and maintaining a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leads and managing existing customer base.
· Develops and implements plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
· Cultivate long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers.
· Develop a firm understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned account.
· Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and capability to promote new ideas and products.
· Team-oriented personality who can work well with others in the organization.
· Proactive at executing daily tasks and achieving long-term goals.
