Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AML & KYC Manager to lead and manage a team of 45 to 50 analysts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the collection, review, and organization of AML/KYC documents, initiating risk assessments, and ensuring ongoing due diligence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering/Collection and Review of AML/KYC Documents: Oversee the process of gathering and reviewing all necessary AML and KYC documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Initiate Risk Assessment and Ongoing Due Diligence: Lead the risk assessment process, ensuring all procedures are followed and ongoing due diligence is conducted effectively.
• Review/Escalate/Close Alerts: Manage the transaction monitoring process, including the review, escalation, and closure of alerts triggered by monitoring systems.
• Data Management: Collect, interpret, update, and organize data related to AML and KYC processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the team of analysts, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle their responsibilities efficiently.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all AML/KYC activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, and prepare necessary reports for senior management.

Required Skills:

• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey information and instructions.
• Transaction Monitoring: Experience with transaction monitoring and review processes, including familiarity with relevant platforms and systems.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all documents and processes are handled accurately and thoroughly.
• Data Management: Proven experience in collecting, interpreting, updating, and organizing data.
• AML & Transaction Reviews: Deep knowledge of AML processes, transaction reviews, and KYC checks.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large team and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE) are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of analysts, preferably in a financial services or banking environment.
